Controller / CPA in Hauser, Idaho

Seeking qualified CPA for a long term Controller position in the Bonner County area. Looking for someone who is self directed and motivated to work in an energetic "work hard / play hard" environment. Will work directly under the president of the company.
Qualifications:
* Current CPA - will consider newer CPA's who meet the rest of the requirements
* BS in Accounting or Finance
* Experience in financial analysis
* Cost Accounting experience a plus
Skills Needed:
* Knowledgeable in use of financial and accounting software and reporting systems.
* Well versed in all aspects of accounting including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting.
* Able to communicate well and function as part of the management team.
* Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to problem solve
* Detail and deadline oriented, time management skills
* Able to assist in and implement changeover of current CRM and entire reporting & management system as well as train others on the system. Not afraid to give input in the creation/design.
* Able to research, understand and communicate financial variance drivers
* Will be responsible for forecasts, annual budgets and upgrading reporting procedures.
Qualities:
* Resilient personality who can focus on work when needed but keep a sense of humor and good attitude throughout the day. Someone who takes their work serious, but doesn't take life too serious.
* Not afraid to offer input for improving systems in this growing organization as well as being flexible to change with those systems as well.
* Excellent communicator who can work with the rest of the staff on system changes.
* Able to self-manage. Someone needing constant direction or someone over their shoulder will not do well here. The ideal candidate needs to be self directed and responsible.
This opportunity is in the Sandpoint area. Bonner County residents preferred. This is a salaried position with PTO offered after 90 day probationary period.
